About Camp

2-4-1 Puts Play Back into Sports!

We are excited to be back at Peak to Peak Charter School, 800 Merlin Dr, Lafayette, CO (June 3-7)

At 2-4-1, children have the opportunity to sample multiple sports and learn for themselves how playing one sport increases their ability and confidence in another. While many specialty camps are filled with laps, lines and lectures – at 2-4-1 Sports we focus on getting kids moving and playing all day. All attendees play at least 3 sports each day and we encourage all campers to try at least one sport they’ve never tried before. “Life’s 2 Short 4 Just 1 Sport” is more than a tagline for us — it’s a cultural shift that drives our programs to help families recognize that a lifelong love of activity starts with a diverse, play-filled childhood.

For details on Division 2 (rising grades 1-2), scroll down to see Junior 2-4-1.

All Division 3 campers (going into grades 3-8) will get to choose from a menu of multiple fun-filled options.   We will send out a googleform closer to camp allowing Division 3 campers to choose their sports (but know that popular options like soccer, flag football, baseball and Universal Sports* will all be available).

*Universal Sports: Campers love that they never know what they’ll get each day. Each year it varies and often involves community partnerships. Maybe its Gaelic football or hurling with our partners from Denver Gaels. Maybe it’s golf offered by First Tee. Maybe it’s fencing offered by a local club. Or the Israeli dodgeball game known as GaGa. Whatever it is, you can rest assured, it’s incredibly fun and the skills learned crossover to our traditional sport offerings.

$389 per camper

  • Sibling discount of $25.00 is also automatically applied for each camper from the same family after the first registration
  • 2-4-1 Sports is a signature program of 2-4-1 CARE, Inc (501c3). If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Play@241sports.com
    • You also have the opportunity to help send others to camp with a donation at the time of registration.

Please note:

2-4-1 Boulder County is held at Peak to Peak Charter School and is open to any child going into Grades 1-8, regardless of their school or location.

Because of indoor construction going on at Peak to Peak this summer,  camp will be held almost entirely outdoors this summer.   While we do have space indoors for unexpected storms that roll in, unfortunately, we do not have indoor programming space.  If the forecast is such that we need to cancel, we will give notice by 7am on the day of camp. If we must cancel, then a prorated credit will stay on your account for a future 2-4-1 program.

Junior 2-4-1

For boys and girls going into Grades 1-2 (fall of 2024)
While the times and dates of Junior 2-4-1 are the same as our traditional camp, the programming itself is age-appropriately different. In keeping in line with the “ 2-4-1 Crossover Effect” – we see it as so important that these youngest athletes crossover to our traditional program having had the most positive of experiences. With that in mind – our staff focuses on infusing skill instruction into serious fun! We want their first introduction to multiple-sports to be one where they leave asking for more! Junior campers don’t choose sports – we bring the sports to them!

Campers have the option to bring lunch or to purchase lunch  You can purchase lunch for the week during registration or you can purchase as many individucal days as you choose once camp begins.

Campers also love attending our canteen – items include an assortment of drinks, snacks and treats.  You have the option to prefund your canteeen account at registration or fund/replenish throughout the week at camp.

We suggest talking to your child about limits at the canteen as we use a debit/credit system.
