Coach Phonz was a multi-sport Varsity Athlete at Montbello High School, excelling in Football, Basketball and Track. After high school, Coach Phonz found a love of coaching through his work with the Denver Parks and Recreation program, where he was highly involved in their youth programs. His father is a long time head girls basketball coach and the currently the head coach at South High School. Phonz has been coaching hoops with his Dad for the past 7 years along with coaching his own son’s youth baseball team as well.
