John DeGennaro served for 17 years as Masuk High School’s Athletic Director and K-12 Wellness Education Instructional Leader.  During that time, he is very proud of the increased student-athlete participation rate and all of the amazing accomplishments of Masuk’s student-athletes and coaching staff.  Coach D served as Masuk’s Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for 14 years.  Prior to his tenure, Coach D was the Head Basketball Coach at Terryville High School.  At the high school level, he has also coached JV baseball (in Yonkers, NY) and girls’ lacrosse.  For the last 6 years Coach D has coached youth softball.

Coach D joins 2-4-1 with 14 years of experience as an Athletic Camp Director, running Panthers Basketball Camp in Monroe for 14 years (over 50 weekly sessions).

John DeGennaro is a graduate of Hamden High School where he is a member of thw Hamden Education Association Hall of Fame and Manhattan College where he played basketball.
