
Kathleen Foley is a former Division III Field hockey player at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and has been the Masuk Field Hockey Head Coach since 2014. Kathleeen has also been an elementary and science educator for 16 years.Before coming to Monore, Coach Foley worked with Rogers International School and was a field hockey coach that created and implemented 2 middle school teams (5 / 6 & 7 /8) that played Stamford area schools from 2010-2013. Demonstrating her multisport background, Kathleen is also a WSI certified swim instructor & lifeguard. From 1998-2006, she taught swimming and water safety to campers, as well as private lessons and swim team preparation training. She was also Director of First Aid & Sailing Instructor atBlue Water Bound -Marine Math and Science Sailing Program from 2006 – 2011. There she Organized, monitored, and maintained medical records, physicals, and medicines for 9 instructors and 75 – 100 campers. Additionally, Kathleen co-wrote nationally recognized curriculum incorporating sailing and powerboating skills with CCSS on mathematics, science, and history. She Instructed swimming and sailing skills to at-risk and under-privledged local youth grades 5 – 8; and lastly, she taught powerboating skills to CITs, and oversaw CITs and junior counselors during summer at the camp.
