
Tracy’s life has always had a sports emphasis. She started her career in sports in Wisconsin as an athlete and fan. She was a three-sport varsity athlete in high school playing volleyball, basketball, and track and field while spending all her spare time on the ski slopes or in the pool teaching synchronized swimming and swim lessons. Tracy went on to become a four-year varsity collegiate athlete in track and field at the University of Wisconsin –La Crosse where she was conference champion in the javelin and runner up in the 400 hurdles. Her passion for playing sports did not end there. She graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Management with an emphasis in Physical Education and School Health and later obtained a Master’s degree from WKU in Recreation and Sports Administration – Athletic Administration and Coaching. Tracy has been teaching and coaching for Denver Public Schools for 14 years. She is currently teaching physical education at University Park Elementary and enjoys coaching track at South High School.
