About Camp

Announcing the 2-4-1 Sports Camp for Girls at Miss Porter’s School!

Our first All-Girls Camp since 2008!!

At 2-4-1 Sports, we believe in the power of PLAY—especially for girls! Our all-girls camp at Miss Porter’s School is designed to empower young athletes, build confidence, and nurture lifelong skills through the joy of multi-sport participation. With our “Life’s 2 Short 4 Just 1 Sport” philosophy, girls will have the chance to discover new passions, develop diverse athletic skills, and thrive in a supportive, fun-filled environment.

Our program prioritizes inclusion and belonging, giving every girl the opportunity to explore at least three sports each day. Campers will gain resilience, make new friends, and learn firsthand how playing one sport can enhance their abilities in another. We’re not just creating strong athletes—we’re building strong leaders.

This special session is a return to our roots, honoring our legacy as a girls-only camp when we first started back in 2008. We are thrilled to bring this unique experience back, offering girls an inspiring space to move, play, and grow.

Program Highlights:

  • For Rising Grades K-8
  • Campers select three sports from a variety of options, including Basketball, 2-4-1 Lacrosse, Field Hockey,  Soccer, Tennis, and Universal Sports.

When registering, you will be given the option to select 3 sports of interest. We will build a schedule that introduces the girls to multiple sports each day and throughout the week. We will use the sport form responses to help build our schedule in order to include all of the girls’ top choices during the week. However, we are eager to introduce the girls to new sports as well as new games within a sport. Because Life’s 2 Short 4 Just 1 Sport.

Join us at Miss Porter’s School and give your daughter the gift of play, growth, and possibility. Spaces are limited, so register today!

Sample Schedule

Just a typical day at 2-4-1 Sports:
This sample schedule is for  Division 3 only (Grades 3-8 Fall of 2026)

See Junior 2-4-1 (Division 1 rising K, and Division 2 rising grades 1-2) below for explanation of our Divisions

Junior 2-4-1

Camp is broken into 3 age group divisions (note that “Rising” for each of the following is what grade your child will be in Fall of 2023)

Division 1- Rising Kindergartners

Division 2 – Rising 1st and 2nd grade

Division 3 – Rising 3rd through 8th grade

While the times and dates of Division 1 and Divison 2 are the same as our traditional camp, the programming itself is age-appropriately different. In keeping in line with the “2-4-1 Crossover Effect” – we see it as so important that these youngest athletes crossover to our traditional program having had the most positive of experiences. With that in mind – our staff focuses on infusing skill instruction into serious fun! We want their first introduction to multiple-sports to be one where they leave asking for more! Campers in these Divisions do not need to bring any of their own equipment since our goal is to introduce them to new sports.
Division 1 and 2 campers have their own group and counselors. So please know we are not able to honor any sibling or friend requests outside of each other’s division.  We also can not make any exceptions regarding these grade requirements for divisions.
Please know that Division 1 campers must have participated in a full day school or camp experience (at least 6 hours) prior to attending 2-4-1 Sports.  We have a very active curriculum and it’s our experience that those who have not had a full day school or camp experience get overwhelmed quickly.  We need  for parents to document during the application process where your child has had a prior full day experience.  Campers of this age must of course be potty trained.

Before/After Care

After Care is available for those families that may need to pick their camper up late in order for them to be able to attend camp.

All campers will be supervised by a member of the 2-4-1 Staff and have the opportunity for continued play.

After care: 3:00-4:30 ($75 for the week)

If choosing to do single days (not committing to the full week), then each segment is $20.00 and can be purchased/funded through your campers canteen account.

Lunch/Canteen

We’re excited to offer both a canteen and Miss Porter’s Dining Hall lunch during camp, giving families flexibility and convenience!

  • Lunch-Dining Hall Lunch is included in the price of tuition!
Some might say this is the best part of camp! The girls will head to the dining hall each day to select lunch made by Miss Porter’s dining staff.
  • Canteen Details:
The canteen is always a highlight for campers! It offers a variety of drinks, snacks, and treats to keep them energized throughout the day. It will be offered during a break each day.

    • You can pre-fund your child’s canteen account during registration.
    • Canteen accounts can also be funded or replenished throughout the week at camp.
  • Tips for Parents:
We recommend discussing spending limits with your child beforehand. Our canteen operates on a debit/credit system, so it’s helpful to set clear guidelines for how they manage their account.

Whether your camper is refueling with a delicious lunch or enjoying a special treat from the canteen, we’ve got them covered!
