Set-up
Participants sit in a large circle. Assign each student one of 3–4 fruits. One participant begins in the center.
How to Play
The center player calls one fruit. Everyone assigned that fruit changes places while the center player attempts to steal an open spot. The participant left without a spot becomes the new caller. If “Fruit Bowl!” is called, everyone changes places simultaneously.
Rules
Walk quickly but safely.
No pushing.
Listen carefully.
Everyone participates.

Use animals, sports, or colors instead of fruits.
Add multiple callers.
Allow students to call creative categories.
