Set-up

Stand in a circle. Explain that the group will count aloud together without assigning turns.

How to Play

Anyone may say the next number. If two people speak simultaneously, everyone starts over. Continue until the group reaches the goal number.

No planning.
One voice at a time.
Restart after overlaps.
Celebrate progress.

Keep It Going

Count by twos or fives.
Silent hand signals for numbers.
Add a time challenge.
Count backwards.

  • Start with a lower goal (5 or 10).
  • Allow brief planning pause.
