Jake grew up in West Hartford, and graduated from Watkinson School where he played tennis, basketball and ran cross country. This is where he met 2-4-1’s Kerry Boyle (she was the Watkinson Athletic Director). Jake ran cross country at Ithaca College and has continues to run and compete in distances ranging from 1 mile to ultra marathons. After college Jake coached cross country at Watkinson School for 10 years. He also coached ultimate frisbee, tennis, skiing and track & field. Jake’s is a freelance photographer and has taken many of the photos you see on the 2-4-1 website. He has coached for several years at 2-4-1 K.O and 2-4-1 St. Joseph’s summer camps. Jake loves anything sport related and feels at his best when moving and playing. Along with trail running Jake is an avid skier, hiker and pickle baller.
